OPENING THE BUREAU

THE DECIDER began as a simple question: what if an afterlife game made the player responsible for the paperwork? The current prototype focuses on soul dossiers, quick moral reads, and the slow pressure of realizing that every verdict also changes the player's own ledger.

The design direction is a 16-bit-inspired narrative simulation with terminal interfaces, retro pixel art, case files, and choices that avoid clean good-or-evil answers. Each soul should feel like a small ethical puzzle rather than a score checklist.

Current public goals include expanding the dossier system, writing more morally ambiguous cases, refining the Cubicle 404 interface, and preparing the closed beta pipeline for 2028. Future notes will cover new mechanics, art direction, and the decision systems behind Good Place, Bad Place, and Purgatory outcomes.
